Burn Rate Fitness — Brand & Digital

Getting fit is easy.Staying fit is hard.

Gyms are great at giving people access to equipment. But equipment isn’t usually the reason people give up. Motivation is. Accountability is. Knowing what to do next is. Burn Rate saw an opportunity to build something different. Not another gym. A community built around helping people succeed.

The opportunity

The fitness category tends to sell the beginning. Join. Start. Push harder. Transform yourself. But the real challenge isn’t getting someone through the door. It’s giving them enough reasons to keep coming back.

We repositioned Burn Rate around that idea — shifting the focus from a place to work out to a network of people invested in your progress.

Chapter 01

Build a wellness village.

Trainers. Coaches. Nutritionists. Members. Community. Instead of treating each as a separate service, we brought them together as one connected experience. The idea was simple: success shouldn’t depend on figuring everything out yourself.

“Success shouldn’t depend on figuring everything out yourself.”

Burn Rate could surround members with the expertise, encouragement and accountability they needed to keep moving.

Chapter 02

Make fitness feel human.

The identity needed to reflect that shift. Less intimidation. Less fitness theater. More energy, optimism and accessibility. We created a brand system designed to feel active without becoming aggressive — capable of connecting serious fitness with a much broader idea of wellness.

Because Burn Rate wasn’t just about what happened during a workout. It was about everything that helped make the workout work.

Chapter 03

Connect the experience.

The thinking extended across the entire brand. Identity. Digital. Content. Membership. Coaching. Community. The website became more than a place to find classes or membership information. It helped articulate the larger Burn Rate ecosystem and connect people to the resources around them.

One brand. One community. Multiple ways to succeed.

From class discovery to booking a trainer, the digital experience connected members to the whole village — not just the front desk.

More than a membership

Burn Rate started with a familiar fitness challenge: how do you get more people to join? But the more interesting question was: how do you create something worth staying for? The answer wasn’t more equipment. It was more connection. More support. More reasons to keep going.
